Fully automated from raw-slab loading to finished stacking: smart sawing, automatic push-off, vacuum pick-up, transfer stacking and automatic counting, 24-hour continuous production. One line replaces the manual steps of several workers across multiple shifts.

WHY A FULL LINE

One Line, Five Long-Standing Problems Solved

① Hard to hire, hard to retain Labor

Stone processing is heavy work. Lifting and stacking slabs beside the saw is a physically demanding, repetitive job that young workers avoid and older workers can no longer do. With a fully automated line, equipment takes over the heavy work and workers move to supervision and inspection.

② Capacity limited by people Efficiency

Manual stacking speed depends on stamina and shifts, and is hard to sustain at night and on holidays. An automated line runs 24 hours at a constant cycle, so output in the same time is steadier and more predictable.

③ High lifting risk Safety

Granite slabs weigh from tens to hundreds of kilograms each. Manual lifting readily causes strains and crush injuries and is a hotspot for injury claims and labor disputes. The full line keeps workers and slabs apart; nothing is lifted by hand during operation.

④ Slab damage and disputes Quality

Knocks during manual handling are a major source of slab breakage and color-matching complaints; hand counting breeds settlement disputes. Damage-free vacuum handling plus automatic counting and count sheets leave both damage and accounts traceable.

⑤ Management by eyeballing Management

Output, inventory and count sheets are recorded on paper daily reports, so managers never see real-time data. The line can connect to a digital dashboard where output and status are available anytime (optional).

Transfer and drying systems remove the water film; the sealing section works on demand to prepare slabs for stacking and packing.

Five Steps in the Life of a Slab

This is the core process logic of full-line automation, and the reference for equipment design, acceptance and daily maintenance.

1Smart sawing

The saw cuts the layout automatically

Granite slabs are cut automatically to the order layout; where separation is needed, the cutting depth is controlled precisely at about 1/4 of slab thickness to leave a break path for mechanical separation.

2Automatic push-off

Pneumatic push-off separates the pieces

A pneumatic push-off mechanism gently pushes the cut pieces apart along the pre-cut kerf, replacing manual prying with a smooth motion that does not damage slab edges.

3Vacuum pick-up

Damage-free vacuum pick-up

The vacuum-cup gantry manipulator picks up each slab automatically according to the surface, with adjustable suction, suitable for granite, marble and engineered stone.

4Transfer stacking

Automatic transfer to the stacking position

The manipulator transfers slabs to a pallet or stack position and arranges them by the stacking rule, with no human contact or lifting throughout.

5Counting & count sheet

Automatic counting generates the count sheet

Every stacked slab is counted automatically and the count sheet is generated in real time: how many pieces today, how many per stack, no more manual counting.

You can start with a section. We offer two packages: the post-saw section (sorting, washing, stacking) and the full process. We usually recommend starting with the unloading and stacking unit to solve the biggest pain point, then completing the front section as volume requires. The engineer's proposal includes a phased implementation plan.
It depends on the saw's discharge method and signal interface. Bridge saws and CNC saws with external signals (start, done, fault, etc.) can be linked directly; older machines with no interface can be semi-linked by adding sensors. Confirmed by the engineer on site.
Heavy jobs such as unloading and stacking move to the equipment, and existing staff shift to lighter roles: equipment supervision, quality inspection and slab tidying. Operation training is simple; our delivery training usually gets workers running the equipment independently in 1–2 days.
Common specification parameters (slab length, thickness, stacking rules, etc.) are preset in the PLC and recalled with one touch when switching. For frequent material changes, the smart material-change platform (optional) further shortens the gap.
The control system has fault self-diagnosis and alarm prompts; most issues can be resolved by following the on-screen guidance. If not, contact after-sales; service requests are answered within 48 hours. PLCs and common wear parts are kept in stock at the factory for fast replacement.
